Just A Scrappin - Challenge #18

Welcome back to another challenge with the Just A Scrappin' DT. I had a lot of fun with this week's challenge. I was able to pull out the googly eyes! One of my favorite things about fall are the Halloween crafts. They are the projects that work best with the googly eyes!!

This weeks challenge: Make a card, LO, or 3D project with leaves. Use any colors but NO brown this week. Add brads or eyelets.

Welcome back for another challenge with the Just A Scrappin' DT.

This weeks challenge: Celebration - Make a card, layout or 3D project and show how or what you like to celebrate. Use only the colors blue, pink and white. Also use 3 half pearls or rhinestones.

Marshall's Haul

I was running errands the other day, I went into Marshall's and did I find a treasure trove!!!

Check out the pics below. The prices I paid are above them. These are between 50% to 85% off Jo Ann, Michael's and AC Moore prices.


These punches were each $3.99!!!! These are the normal border punches.


These were also all $3.99!! MS and the Large edger punches - usually $17.99!!

Just A Scrappin' - Challenge #15

Hello all!!

Thanks for tuning in for another challenge with the Just A Scrappin' Design Team. This week is actually DT #1 turn for the post. I always like to play along, who can't use a good challenge?

Challenge #15: Make a card, layout or 3D project using any animal. Also use embossing and 3 buttons. Any color goes.

My take on the challenge:




Size: A2

Supplies
Stampin' Up Stamps: Not sure of the name of the stamp set, from 2005, retired.
Stampin' Up Watercolor Crayons: Creamy Caramel, Basic Black, Close To Cocoa
Stampin' Up Cardstock: Soft Suede
Patterned Paper: DCWV Pet Stack
Other Stampin' Up: Blender Pen
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Stampin' Up: Soft Suede (Inside)
Spellbinders Dies: Labels One
Quickutz: Polka Dots embossing folder
Adhesive: 3L Foam Squares, Scotch ATG, Mini Glue Dots
Basic Grey: Buttons

Directions for Card Assembly

1. Cut Cardstock to 4.25 X 11
2. Score card at 2.75 and 8.25
3. Cut both side layers to 2.625 X 4.125
4. Inside layer cut at 4.125 X 5.25
5. Adhere image to embossed layer
6. Attach adhesive to left hand side (only) of image layer and adhere to left flap
7. Place three buttons on lower right hand corner, alternating colors

I really had a lot of fun creating this card. I thought I would step out of the box a little and change the shape up.

Since this week is animals, I thought I would share a beautiful picture of one of the puppies in my life. When I went to take this picture, she heard the camera go on and posed. She is so super adorable!!
