Hello all! I wanted to share my Easter projects that I have completed. My son is wonderful enough at 17 to allow me to still make goody bags for his friends. I think it more has to do with them getting free candy, but it makes us both happy!!

Create A Critter 2 (2.00)
Core'dinations Cardstock: White, Blue
Patterned Paper: Recollections - Michael's
My Creative Time: To My Best Peep Stamp Set

Other: Small Cello bags from Stampin' Up

Toppers measure 3" X 2". Score at 1".

These pictures show the tag I made to go along with an Easter basket for my son's girlfriend.

Teddy Bear Parade Cricut Cartridge (Cut all layers at 2.25")
Stampin' Up Cardstock: Basic Black, Blushing Bride, Creamy Caramel, Pear Piazzazz, Soft Suede, Whisper White
Ink: Tuxedo Black by Memento

The tin came from the $1 section at Target. The cute ducky pen came from there too. It is so SUPER adorable..if you push down on his head, he quacks and a purple light shines out of his mouth!! I couldn't resist :)

My tag will be entered into the My Creative Time challenge that is currently going on. You pick a line off a tic-tac-toe board and make a project with those items. For mine I chose: Die, Ribbon/Hemp, Stitching - Fau or Real.

Well, thanks for stopping by to check out my creations. I had so much fun making these for Ryan. I hope you and yours have a very Blessed Easter! I am so happy as I gave up chocolate for Lent and as of sunday --- CHOCOLATE!!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Welcome back to another challenge with the Just A Scrappin' Design Team.

This weeks challenge: Make an easel card and use pastel colors on it.

Patterned Paper: Recollections (Michael's)
Cardstock: Stampin' Up: Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Suede
My Creative Time - To My Best Peep, Chunky Jar Accessories Set
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Other: Darice Small Pom-Poms

I have some other news to share. I have decided to step down from the Just A Scrappin' Design Team. It was a hard decision and I am very sad about, but it was the right decision to make at this time. My focus lately has been solely on my son. As many of you know I am a single mother.

My son amazes me. He is a scholar athlete, and involved in more activities than I can even comprehend. His latest achievement is being inducted into the National Honor Society. So, needless to say, it takes a lot to keep up with his activities. With his Senior year coming, it is only going to get more intense with college selection and testing added into the chaos.

I never want to do something without giving it my full commitment. I will still be keeping up with my blog as time allows so, please keep stopping by to see what I'm up to.

Also keep supporting the awesome ladies on the design team. I have learned something from or been inspired by every person on that team.

Thank you for stopping by, and for the last time, please head on over to Just A Scrappin' to check out the rest of my talented design sisters and see what they did for this challenge.

Thank you for joining me today. I am back with the Just A Scrappin' Design Team for another challenge.

This week's challenge: Use felt - Make a card, LO or project and use felt on it some where. Use the color orange on it.

You will notice the lack of felt on my project, which was part of the challenge. I have an issue where touching felt gives me the hebee jeebees. So, I tried to use cotton fabric on my project, but my dies would not cut through the fabric. So, I used the great old standard - paper!!!

Hemp: Hemptique Hemp Cord
Cardstock: Blushing Bride, Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz
Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Patterned Paper: Happier by My Minds Eye
Other: Magnet Sheets from Walmart

My Creative Time Supplies
Stitched Chunky Jar Dies
Chunky Jar Accessories Set

I have to thank my design team sister, Kimberly for help in creating this week's project. I had a tough week in dealing with some family issues. I had this idea in my head to put this project together. Then, I thought of the suggestion of Kimberly from my last project. She had suggested for tags, attach a magnet to the back and make a magnet! So, that is what I did!! You are seeing my project straight from my refrigerator in my kitchen. I am going to make a few more of these to give to a few people that were really there for me in my time of crisis/need.

I hope you enjoyed my project. Please check out my design team sister's projects at Just A Scrappin' for some awesome inspiration!

Welcome back!! It is so great to finally be back. I have felt lost these past couple weeks, but I am feeling so much better. I ended up having a sinus infection -- NO FUN!!!

So, today I am here to share with you the project I did for the Just A Scrappin' Design Team Challenge.

Challenge: Sew & Stitch- Use sewing on your card, LO or project. Also add eyelets

My Creative Time Supplies
Tag Dies
Vintage Stitched Label Dies
Vintage Sentiments Stamp Set
Chunky Jar Accessories (Butterfly Die)
Hemp: Hemptique Hemp Cord
Patterned Paper: Happier by My Minds Eye

As you can see on my project, I did not use any eyelets. I didn't have any and didn't have a chance to get out and get some. I used to have a huge bucket with them and I never used them. So, I passed them onto someone else. I never really got into eyelets. I hate that you can see through the hole in the middle to the inside to your project.

For my sewing I just the ribbon a little and put a stitch through the middle. I thought it came out sweet. I will definitely pull out my sewing machine more often.

I really love how this came out. I'm not sure if I would use it to attach to a baby gift, or it could even be used to layer onto a scrapbook page. Either way it will come in handy since I don't have a lot of projects/cards made for baby gift giving.

Starting Monday, March 11, I will have a giveaway for a one week period. It is to celebrate my new blog, which I am so super happy with the outcome of the design.

Make sure to head on over to Just A Scrappin' to check out the creations the other design team members have created!

Hope you all are well.
