Hey all you crafty cats out there! You are never going to believe it....I made a video!!! Something that I hope will be happening more frequently now that summer is coming and my son will not be in school. As a lot of you know I have chronic back problems. Recently, I was on bed rest for a week. My Kindle Fire was very happy to keep me company!
Thanks for watching :)

Hello all my crafty peeps! I wanted to show you my birthday present I bought myself
Now, don't panic! I still love my Cricut, but during my week of bed rest, I watched A LOT of videos about the Silhouette and it seems pretty cool! I am very excited to use it. I haven't set it up yet, but am hoping to next week. I really like that you can print and cut with it just using your own home printer. I do have the Imagine, by Cricut, but apparently they have stopped making those and now I have a $400 paperweight.
I also love that you can get exactly the cut files you want. Gone are the days of having to buy a $30 cartridge to get only a few images you are in love with. I will still be buying cartridges, I actually just bought the new When I Was A Kid cartridge. I really love having all the options. It appears the Silhouette Cameo also does better with more intricate cuts, from what I have seen on videos.
I plan to do a couple videos next week. I really miss doing videos! I just have to figure out my camera software :) I also will do a haul video as I picked up a few things over the week of bed rest.
So, that's all for now. I will be back soon to share some new goodies and starting learning the Cameo!
If anyone is interested in the Silhouette Cameo, I got mine for a STEAL on HSN. The fact they do flex-pay and bill you over 4 months really helps out! No credit card needed!!

Hey everyone! Sorry I have been missing the past couple months. So much has happened!! As you know I decided to step down from the Just A Scrappin' Design Team to devote more time to my son. It is a good thing I did!! In the past month and a half, my son has been chosen for the following: Special Scholarship Program for HS Juniors, National Honor Society, Boys State, named a Scholar Athlete for his high school and has been doing awesome during this season of Outdoor Track. I am such a proud mama!!
I also had to have one of my injections in my spine because my back has really been bothering me. It always seems I am the most creative when I can't get into my scrap room, does that happen to you guys too? I am on the tail end of my week on bed rest and it's just in time since my birthday is on Friday!! I will be 36, it's hard to believe. I've been doing a little shopping while on bed rest, really, what else is there to do? I was able to get a few things through The Scrap Yard and I cleaned up at an awesome sale Emma had at My Creative Time. You know how I love her products....addicted to them :)
I also wanted to let you know about a new button I just added. The super awesome Melody at Melody Lane Designs is giving away a SUPER AWESOME prize package, you will notice it in the right hand column. Go check it out. Super cool :) Also, check out her blog and You Tube videos, she has the AWESOMEST hauls!!
I hope to be in the craft room VERY soon and share some cool ideas I have had. Thanks for stopping by!
