May Anything Goes Challenge

Hi guys! Today I was able to finish off a few projects that have been lingering on my desk. I'm trying hard to stay up with the challenges over at Bugaboo Stamps. They have really fun challenges and it helps me work on my coloring. It is so relaxing to sit and color in the images. Makes me feel like a kid again!

I have to be honest, this is one of my favorite projects I have done in awhile. Everything seemed to just come together. I always color my images first and then create the card. Sometimes that can make it more challenging, but it worked well today! I took a stack of my 6 x 6 pads and went to work. Now, I will admit that black is not usually a color you would see on a Mother's Day card, but it just worked. I adore the finished product. I am someone who is very critical of my own work, so it's a wonderful feeling to just be in love with my project.

  1. I know exactly what you mean, Bridget, coloring is so relaxing for me! This is precious and I really like the coordinating papers and design. It's always a pleasure to see Bugaboo images used! Thanks so much for joining the May Anything Goes Challenge at Catch the Bug this week.

    1. Cynthia,

Thank you so much for your sweet comment! I've found most of us still love to color :) Our "crayons" just got a lot more expensive!!

I have to admit I am a Bugaboo addict and proud of it!!

      Thanks for visiting!!!

  2. I totally agree Bridget - the black really works on this adorable card! Thank you for sharing your beautiful project with us at Catch the Bug Challenges.

  3. Ah, Bridget, you have the knack for tying pretty bows -- something I gave up on long ago, even with the handy bow makers out there . . . hahaha. Your image is colored up beautifully -- and a Bugaboo one, at that!! Thank you for your entry into the Catch the Bug challenge, and good luck.

  4. Very cute card! I love how beautifully you colored this image in. She's adorable! I love the sketch too, gorgeous colors and paper choices!
